University Of Tennessee At Chattanooga

Completed in 1886, University Hall, affectionately known to faculty and students as "Old Main" fronted on McCallie Avenue. Old Main housed science laboratories, a chapel, 39 dormitory rooms, and apartments for the president and faculty members. It was torn down in 1917. This photo is one of the last taken of "Old Main."
