Lenoir Cotton Mill

Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, the cotton mill building burned in 1991. In 1996, the Lenoir Cotton Mill Association approved a plan to protect the site and preserve the ruins of the building.

The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum contains the nation s largest collection of Lincoln and Civil War artifacts and volumes. The facility at Lincoln Memorial University has an average of 14,000 visitors annually.
